2006 Member Guest Tournament

The traditional member-guest tournament was held May 20th.  This year the weather was wonderful, however once again the fish were elusive.   Our judges who graciously volunteered their expertise again this year had one fish to measure.  I hope to have the honor of someday handing out more than a single trophy.  As always, everyone seemed to have a good time.  Once again out resident master of  "NC Barbecue" presented the attendees with a feast fit for any angler.  Jimmy Jackson with Scott Garris by his side did a fantastic job.  They welcomed a new apprentice into the fine art of pig cooking.  Pat Clark joined their group and from what I saw it was good team work and a good time.  Thanks, guys.  Jimmy's wife Lois, once again filled our plates with delicious sides and desserts, a fabulous job.   My thanks to you.  To all who pitched in and helped, your efforts were greatly appreciated and I thank you.  Looking forward to next time.
